God, our Creator
This is life eternal, that they might know you, the only true God
God said to Moses, I AM WHO I AM (אֶהְיֶה אֲשֶׁר אֶהְיֶה)
…and you shall say that [BEING] has sent you
I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me
…in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit
Only God can make God known; only God can properly self-name.
For our purposes, we assume an orthodox Christian understanding of God, and do not speculate beyond what has been divinely revealed in the holy scriptures and articulated by the Church via tradition.
